From Vaasa to Silicon Valley – Launching the Energy Transition

On September 23, 2025, the journey from Vaasa to Silicon Valley officially launched at the Startup Factory, University of Vaasa, bringing together startups, researchers, investors, and energy leaders to explore how AI can accelerate the energy transition and industrial decarbonization.

Co-organized by Lars Ling of the CleanTech Region Group and hosted by Philipp Holtkamp of the Vaasa University Startup Factory, the session positioned the Vaasa Energy Cluster at the forefront of global innovation. The event highlighted Nordic Impact Week (Oct 27–31, 2025, San Francisco) as a gateway for Finnish and Nordic companies to enter the Silicon Valley ecosystem with purpose, partnerships, and investment readiness.

From practical US market insights to investment pathways and Silicon Valley networking culture, the message was clear:
